Wanijima Akito & Agito

[ the video feed turns on to the worried face of an Eevee, who then backs away to show her owner passed out in his bed and clearly not at the peak of health, if the flush on his face is any indication. there is a Glaceon sitting vigil by his head, however, pressing a paw to Akito's (or is is Agito's?) forehead to cool it down.

the rest of the bed is taken up by a Jolteon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Furret, all apparently very accustomed to cramming themselves onto the mattress.

he wakes up with a bit of struggle after a moment, sitting up (and dislodging Ram Jet the Glaceon from his perch) and blinking wearily at the Eevee who is messing with his PokéGear. he sounds just as tired as he looks, and is infinitely glad that tomorrow is their last day of work for a while. ]


...A-T? What are you doing?

We finally made it to Goldenrod! I've been wanting to buy some evolutionary items and some TMs for a long time, so it was really exciting! Atmosphere is now a Togekiss- [ Atmos bows to the camera pretend the gif is a shiny one] and Naka-chan is a Leafeon! It cost so much money though...

[ after a moment's shyness, Nakayama bows as well, then curls up behind Akito. ]

Spitfire is a Lampent now, but we're going to wait for him to finish learning all of his skills before he evolves, and Pirou-kun evolved into a Kirlia! Hobo-kun is... Ah, well, he turned into a fossil again. But there is a way to fix that, ne?

Oh! And um... Karkat? Did I get it right..? Agito says that Garchomp is still way better than Haxorus, and that Shark is already cooler than a Haxorus even though he's still just a Gabite right now. Also when we have enough money for a Metal Coat he wants you to help him evolve his Scyther into a Scizor.

[ It is hot. And while Akito and Agito are both still confused, they've acclimatized to the situation at this point. They have an Eevee curled up happily in their arms, even as Akito stares at the Pokégear with a mix of curiosity and worry.

Eventually Akito decides that introductions are in order. When he speaks it's with a soft, feminine voice that matches his face. When will he hit puberty? We just don't know! ]

Ah... Hi! I'm Wanijima Akito, from Shinjuku, Tokyo. I'm sixteen! And in um... New Bark Town. So if it's like the original games' set-up then the route leading out of town would have Rattata and Pidgey, and maybe Spearow too, I think. I haven't played the games in a long time...

I haven't given my Eevee a nickname yet, but I was thinking of maybe calling it A-T. If it's like normal starters then it should be level five, which means that training in Route 29 for a while would be a good idea...


[ He trails off in thought for a moment before snapping his attention back to the Pokégear. ]
